Seeding Victoria operates from the old nursery site adjacent to the School of Forestry in Creswick.

Its role is to provide a reliable supply of locally indigenous seed for the region, which includes the upper catchment areas of the North Central, Wimmera, Glenelg Hopkins, Corangamite and Port Phillip CMA’s.

Seed is stored on site in a purpose built coolroom and is available for purchase by nurseries, Landcare groups and individuals for revegetation activities.

Seeding Victoria assists groups with training in seed collection, storage and propigation as well as native species identification.
