Native vegetation establishment

Returning areas of cleared land to native vegetation is a key project for Landcare.  We look for areas that do not fit in with broader land uses (wet, rocky, steep) and seek to re-create as best possible the mix of strata and species that was on the land pre clearing.

Where possible we seek to incorporate areas where native vegetation still exists, as well as to use plantings like this to link with other similar works in the landscape.
