The Miners Rest Landcare group recently held a working bee at the Miners Rest Common. After the moderate winter rainfall the grass was thick and lush, making a challenging job for those who came along. Regardless of this the group was able to put 60 trees in the ground. Many of the trees from previous plantings had established strong growth which was excellent to see.

The group meets on Wednesday 12^th October at the Miners Rest Community Hall 7:30pm.
